There are so many talented musicians in Texas. Most of them are exceptional songwriters on top of that. One of these talents is Larry Bradfute from the Dallas area. He's writing songs since quite some time and has decided to put some of them on a CD. Contrary to many private productions, Long Time Coming is easy listening from the very first minute, nicely mixed and catchy. A little more treble would have made the sound even better.

Right at the title track that voice remembers me of some artists. Since I've never heard or seen Larry playing live, he must remember me of artists in my collection. And yes, this is traditional country music in the 60's and 70's style of a Ronnie Milsap or Moe Bandy. Sounds of times where country music did not have to sound like pop to be accepted by the consumer.

My favorites on the CD are More and Captured My Heart. Also listen to Stronger Than Love or Under The Influence to get an impression of this songwriter.
