Since more than three decades, Richard Brobst is writing songs and still there are only three CDs available from this singer/songwriter. That’s a pity because Brobst is seamlessly joining folk greats such as Tom Paxton. His calm voice and the melodies of his songs are the perfect match. On Might Be Today, the listener gets to know ten examples from Brobst’s large repertoire and all tracks have been penned by himself.

Be it uptempo tracks such as Sometimes The Moon and the titlesong Might Be Today or rather slow songs such as Blow Your Horn or Hotstick Blvd., Brobst presents his work professionally and easy to catch for the listener.

My favorites are She Cleans Up Well and the duet I Got The Blues, Too. For all friends and fans of classy folk music: listen in and buy this really good album.
