The sophomore album of Robert Bo McGuire, Country At Heart, took two years to follow his debut. It was worth the wait. The singer from Ohio presents another ten authentic country songs, among them one he has written.

Contrary to the songwriters on his first album, McGuire this time counted on Terry Dennis to contribute seven of the ten songs. An excellent choice again, as this writer has an equally great ability to pen traditional songs. It's hard to select some favorites on this album as this is a bunch of classic country tracks, each one capable to enjoy the fan of this kind of music. If I have to chose then I would go for Give Me A Honky Tonk Night and This Joker's Not Wild Anymore.

This and the previous album have earned McGuire a steady flow of gigs in and out of the state of Ohio. This is definitely an artists of whom we will hear more in the future and we can't wait to see his next release.

From the opener He's Kissing The Lips That Told Me Goodbye to McGuire's self-penned Three Ways Of Knowing you will stick to the stereo listening and enjoying these great songs.
