And here comes another overview - even though only six tracks - on Texas music. Stubbs BBQ is a place in Austin, which serves excellent food combined with live music - and you can now even order both to be home delivered. That is because Paloduro Records has joined with Stubbs to market the current sampler named A Taste Of Texas Music Volume 1.

Walt Wilkins is represented with the first track Trains I've Missed from his current album Diamonds In The Sun. You also find Darryl Lee Rush's Town Too Tough To Die from his recent production, Llano Avenue. The band Eleven Hundred Springs contributes Rock Island Line from their album Bandwagon and Two Tons Of Steel tell you about Vegas.

Judgement Day was the album title of the Lost Immigrants' debut and from that CD the track Memories & Rust has been cut. And finally the band Miles From Nowhere presents a sample with Bloodline. I'd like to extend the motto of the CD which says "Everything Goes Better With BBQ". I would put it as "Everything Goes Better With BBQ And Texas Music".
