Born
in Tennessee, Billy Allen got in contact with Country Music early in his life.
Back in 1983 he was among the ten finalists of the Wrangler Country Star
Search Competition. In the early 90's Billy and his band opened for acts
such as Marty Stuart or Doug Stone. He produced several albums, some of which
with KMA Records.
He selects and records mainly work from other songwriters. Among them are Reed Nielsen or T. Graham Brown, with whom he also recorded the duet Hell And High Water on the Keep On Loving Me album.
Play tips on Billy Allen are The Intimidator, a homage to the late Nascar legend Dale Earnhardt. Further the uptempo tunes Beer Bottle Brown and The Older I Get.
