Usually, projects the likes of this Bellamy Brothers cooperation with Swiss Rock Star Gölä are meant to push or revive the career of either party. However, in this event, such a push is needed by neither the two brothers or the Swiss rock icon. Both still enjoy a lot of admirer’s among the music fans.

So we can fairly say that this album is an ingenious marketing idea with a surprisingly high fun factor for the musicians as well as the listener. At least in Switzerland, the album reached Platinum status (30’000 copies) within just one week.

Out of the thirteen tracks, four were penned by Göla, the rest are Bellamy Brothers hits from their career spanning several decades. On top of it, David Bellamy wrote a tribute to Switzerland with the track I Must Be In Switzerland. No surprise, since the duo has traveled this country on a regular basis over the years. One would wish that the Swiss Folklore Intro would flow more seemingly into the song itself.

Overall, an album to enjoy listening once again to some of the Bellamy Brothers hits, but most of all, listening to Gölä’s stunning rendition of the Bellamy song Over The Line from their 1997 album with the same title.
