She stormed the Texas Charts with her song Mistake and she’s one of the few artists who is equally acclaimed by critics in Nashville and Texas. Her CD Maverick with six songs is clearly following the trendy mainstream. Some producers do predict Rachael Warwick as one of the next nominees for the CMA Awards.
Pop Country, somewhere between Shania Twain and Casey Chambers, combined with the charming looks of actress Angelina Jolie – this is how Nashville Rage Magazine has described Rachael. However labelled, what really makes her outstanding is her clear voice that dominates all her songs. Rachael got infected with the country virus at the occasion of visiting Nashville at the age of 13.
Four
of the six songs are following the actual music trend, which is suitable to
also attract young fans. Rachael has written some 60 songs, enough material
to produce her second album even though the first is just in the works. For
me, the two most attractive songs on this album are Mistake and Highway
109 and if upcoming productions are following the trend of these songs,
I am sure we will hear a lot more of this young lady in the future.
